Irene has left the east coast... at least the tri state!

Okay so last night i was glued to the TV. I cooked a huge meal and had gallons of water on hand in case we lost power and or water... We didn't thank the lord, and we made it intact! There are some trees down near us but none on my block! Which to me is a blessing! The rain was strong and the wind blew hard, even now at 7pm the wind is still blowing very strong! I'm just very glad that this happened this week and not next weekend, BC its Samaya's bday celebration next week. And I've been through enough changes... OMG... My cousin had to go through emergence surgery so she wont be able to make the cake, I'm just glad she's safe. My sisters might not make it there fore I need to buy food..... I just wont accept anything else changing... lol Just kidding.. I just hope everything works out and my family and friends actually show up!

Hurricane watch?! WTH in New york!???

This is so scary and kinda Sad! I Can only hope that we will overcome this and Irene doesn't hit us to hard! I have been calling my family member that live in the evacuated areas and have confirmed that they are heading out! I'm very happy about that! We are living in area B which should see flooding but hopefully nothing to crazy! I'm on the third floor, hopefully the water wont be that high, My issues is the winds omg they will be strong! Ill keep you updated on how it goes! Sam's Bday is five days away...

wow its been too long...

So allot has happen, so much that I cant believe its been almost 15 days since I last blogged... sry peoples! So far let me see, I got my second cloth bday diaper its amazing!
I also spent the night at my aunts house and had a blast!!! I love spending time with my mother's side of the family! I love my Father's side as well but they are farther away! I'm straighting out the details of Samaya's Bday! I've been keeping an eye out for the weather, I really, Really hope it doesn't rain! I've interviewed for a job! and got a call back which is great! I was so scared and nervous and omg just jittery... but I'm glad I went out there and still did it! I'm very proud of myself. I don't know if I'm ready to work, but just putting myself out there again made me feel SO good!
well I'm kinda sleepy and my baby girl is taking her am nap! I will be taking advantage and sleeping as well. Hopefully I wont be gone as long but I dunno... When I have time I will blog again! Besos to all my readers and a big thank you for reading my thoughts.

oh, on another note... IUD UPDATE

lol, so I just remember to talk about this! ha ha, I must say yes I am getting more cramps than normal (before paraguard IUD) because prior to the IUD I didn't get cramps at all with my menstrual and omg the most annoying this is that my period has lasted 10 days! wow yes i said TEN DAYS!!! I had light spotting day 1-5 then day 5 to day 8 were heavy... and from day 8-10 light spotting! yesterday was the first day since I had my light spotting that I haven't had to wear a pantie liner! So even though its been a LONG cycle... I'm glad I'm not having any other symptoms (such as bloting, headaches, etc) which I shouldn't because this paraguard IUD doesn't have hormones!! So I guess it depends weather or not or how important it is to have BIRTH CONTROL... prevention of  a baby!

so here's the bump i was waiting for...

of course anytime you or anyone is planning an event things will happen, unexpectedly of course! So as humans we always want to have a back up.... I have a place to order my table and a few chairs... but I will be scooping out another shop to rent from... I want other quotes! And the next issue that has arises.. who will be cooking for this event... I hate this the most because I know I LOVE to eat so, there HAS to be food and GOOD food at my daughter's bday. I didn't want to be crazy with different options, but I just wanted one meat dish, one rice dish and two sides of salads.. That's all I ask for! but now I will have to go to a restaurant and get a quote on how much it would be to cook for the party since I might not have someone to cook for me! :(( that makes me sad!
I will be scouting out these places next week and keep you ( my lovely blog) uodated! wow, next year im doing a basic homemade cake with pasta for dinner and staying home! lol SIMPLE!!

bday preps...

okay so far I have the goodie bags they look like this!
I got they toys to put in the bags from Oriental trading, I think anyone who is planning a party should look into this site! they have tons of toys and treats!
I also have my daughter's outfit, which I wont post because I want it to be a surprise!
The theme for her bday will be oh so sweet Ladybug from 1stWishes
the location is a park, were keeping it local and low key! It will be an afternoon party in the park, with food, CAKE, chips and drinks!

I thinks thats most of it!
I need an outfit but havent had much luck! and Jermaine needs an outfit! then we will be ready to PARTY!!!!!
Im sooooo excited!!! More to come... and we have another four weeks to plan for !!!

August ... National Breastfeeding MONTH!!!!

I came across this YouTube video and absolutely loved it! I support breastfeeding 100%. I love how well these ladies expressed themselves!
