Irene has left the east coast... at least the tri state!

Okay so last night i was glued to the TV. I cooked a huge meal and had gallons of water on hand in case we lost power and or water... We didn't thank the lord, and we made it intact! There are some trees down near us but none on my block! Which to me is a blessing! The rain was strong and the wind blew hard, even now at 7pm the wind is still blowing very strong! I'm just very glad that this happened this week and not next weekend, BC its Samaya's bday celebration next week. And I've been through enough changes... OMG... My cousin had to go through emergence surgery so she wont be able to make the cake, I'm just glad she's safe. My sisters might not make it there fore I need to buy food..... I just wont accept anything else changing... lol Just kidding.. I just hope everything works out and my family and friends actually show up!
